1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction) to use SketchNote. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Use of the Services

SketchNote lets you generate AI-powered sketchnotes from text, transcripts, and URLs. You agree to use the Services in compliance with applicable laws and our Acceptable Use guidelines, which prohibit:

• Uploading unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Attempting to reverse engineer or disrupt our systems.
• Sharing generated visuals that violate third-party rights or privacy.
• Automating account creation or credit use without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

3. Credits and Payment

Purchasing a credit pack grants you a specified number of AI-generated sketchnotes. Credits do not expire but are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law. We may update pricing or introduce subscriptions with prior notice. Taxes may apply based on your billing location.

4. Intellectual Property

SketchNote retains all rights to the Services, trademarks, and underlying technology. You retain ownership of the content you supply and sketchnotes you generate. You grant SketchNote a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to deliver the Services.

5. Feedback

If you share feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that feedback to improve SketchNote without obligation to you.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using SketchNote, you consent to the collection and use of information as described there.

7. Third-Party Services

SketchNote may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., storage providers, collaboration services). We are not responsible for third-party services and disclaim liability for their actions, policies, or availability.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Generated sketchnotes may require review for accuracy before sharing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SketchNote and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. The limitations and exclusions also apply if this remedy does not fully compensate you for any losses or fails of its essential purpose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SketchNote harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using SketchNote at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if continued service poses a risk to the platform. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notices. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
